The CompanyA large tertiary level education centre, this organisation is passionate about supporting Kiwi's reach their full potential and find a career that they love. Partnered with a number of New Zealand businesses, they centre work to have students a job offer once they have completed a course.The RoleThis is a 5 week backfill cover while the permanent team member onsite goes on some extended leave. Working within a wider team around Auckland, this position is the sole IT staff member based at this campus. This role will include:

Troubleshooting hardware issues (printers, servers, networks, laptops)
Providing 1st and 2nd line support to all users onsite
Log issues in approved helpdesk software, including updating resolutions database.
Document resolutions for future reference.
Perform hardware and software installations on new and existing desktop and laptop computers
Effectively communicate with users to ensure they feel their technology needs are being supported

Your Skills & Experience

Minimum of 2-3 experience in IT Support position
Experience troubleshooting Desktops, Laptops and Servers
Experience with networking technologies i.e. TCP/IP, LAN/WAN
Experience supporting of common applications, e.g. Microsoft Office, M365, other Microsoft product.
