The Assoc Sales Specialist will provide support to the NZ Sales Team to deliver customer account plans and financial targets. This role will support an individual’s development into future sales career pathways including account management.This is a 12-month fixed-term contract position.What you will bring to the Role
  • Passionate about a career in Sales and enthusiastic to learn
  • Strong excel skills with the ability to efficiently manipulate data from multiple data sources
  • Strong MS Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook)
  • Exceptional organisation skills, able to prioritise and work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Collaborative approach with a real interest in building trusting relationships both internally and externally
  • Ability to work interpedently and contribute as part of a team
  • Positive and inquisitive attitude – looks for opportunities to grow, improve, simplify
Responsibilites:
  • Prepare product submissions for customers
  • Maintain and update product information across both internal and customer facing reports
  • Support account managers with reporting of sales and inventory data from multiple data points
  • Ensure brand, product, copy, and images are optimized on customer websites
  • Liaise with relevant external and internal supply chain teams to track in full- and on-time delivery of orders
  • Co-ordinate and prepare the monthly priorities and tasks for the sales merchandising team
  • Process customer claims and maintain database
  • General administrative tasks
