With 750 cows, autumn calving, a state-of-the-art 54 bail rotary with ACR, inshed feeding, and Allflex collars for animal monitoring. At Areare Farms, they welcome progress and are always open to new ideas.About the Role:We are seeking a dedicated Farm Assistant to join the team at Areare Farms. Reporting directly to the Farm Manager, this role offers a unique opportunity to work in a vibrant and forward-thinking farming environment.As a Farm Assistant at Areare Farms, you will be responsible for the daily operations. Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting in the care and management of their 750 cows
Operating and maintaining the 54 bail rotary shed
Operating farm machinery and vehicles safely and efficiently
Monitoring the health and well-being of their cows
Assisting with day-to-day farm tasks, including feeding, cleaning, and maintenance.

About You:

A genuine passion for dairy farming and a strong work ethic
Previous farming experience is a plus, but they are open to candidates who are eager to learn and willing to work hard
A commitment to maintaining high standards of animal welfare and farm hygiene
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
