This is a secondary base hospital providing a wide range of services including ED, medical specialties, ICU, ENT, O&G, Paediatrics and Psychiatry.Whangarei Hospital is part of the Northern Region Psychiatry Training Programme.Whangarei has had considerable success in providing comprehensive training to Registrars enabling them to gain Fellowship of the RANZCP.
