An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Consultant Paediatrician seeking to work in a magnificent seaside location. Our client is a leading health provider serving through a public hospital based in Gisborne, New Zealand.Company OverviewOur client operates an established public hospital, boasting a capacity of 115 beds and offering quality health services including Mental health, Children's health, Maternity, Surgical, and Medical. Renowned for its dynamic and friendly teams, the institution prides itself in encouraging and supporting personal and professional development.Position OverviewIn this role, you will be an integral part of a dedicated Paediatric team who are committed to delivering inpatient, outpatient, and community paediatric and neonatal services to the local population.Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive paediatric care to all patients from birth to 16 years.
Work closely with tertiary Specialists at Starship Hospital and local Māori health providers.
Share a 1:6 acute roster.
Offer your expertise within a level 2 Neonatal Unit.
Supervise and mentor resident medical officers

Requirements

FRACP or equivalent specialist qualification in Paediatrics.
Eligibility for vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
