Reporting to the Associate University Librarian, Resources and Technology, you will lead our dedicated and service-oriented Collections team, contribute to the strategic direction of Library services as a member of Kapa Rautaki | Library Leadership Team, and work with friendly and collaborative staff across all our libraries.Located at our Manawatū campus, achieving success in this role will require you to have:

Experience in leading a team.
Experience in acquisitions, cataloguing or e-resource management in academic libraries.
Practical experience in current approaches and challenges involved in negotiating acquisition of scholarly content
Extensive knowledge of collection metadata, library services platforms, discovery services and digital workflows, in order to make scholarly academic content as discoverable and accessible, as efficiently and effectively as possible.
A proactive approach to establishing trusted relationships, both within the Library and with external providers
