- Explore and create opportunities to increase ANL-CMA CGM NZ client base and projecting ANL-CMA CGM as a preferred shipper in the market & region across the full product offering of the Group.
- Drive to deliver strategy set by CCO and actively sell non-maritime products, conduct commercial visits and calls in co-ordination with Outside/Inside Sales.
- Act as an expert on Non-Maritime Products (E-Commerce/VAS/Ceva Cross Sell) and ensure that Outside Sales/Inside Sales have full capability of selling non-maritime products.
- Following each customer meeting ensure that all action items are relayed in writing to key stakeholders.
- Oversee CMA CGM Group's cross sell and VAS account strategy to ensure that lifting performance and revenue generated is in line with budget.
- Liaise closely with the CCO to clearly define Cross Sell and VAS strategy and ensure these are coordinated with the team.
- Liaise with key overseas representatives to ensure that NZ Cross Sell and VAS targets and objectives are well known and implemented in the NZ market.
- Ensure that the NOVA CRM system is being utilized to record sales meetings and monitor sales activity for Cross Sell and VAS opportunities.
- Ensure structured reporting for all CMA CGM Group Cross Sell and VAS potential and existing customers.
- Address issues raised by Cross Sales Managers, adjust pricing strategy based on Sales Team feedback.
- Regularly review the overall performance for each Cross Sell and VAS business unit against agreed KPIs and targets and determine appropriate action as required.
- Tertiary Qualification in Business/ International Business, Supply chain/Logistics or equivalent.
- At least 10-15 years' experience in shipping, supply chain/ logistics.
- Proven track record in setting and achieving budgets in a similar industry.
- Extensive experience in setting objectives and measuring performance vs budget.
- Highly proficient user of Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) with the ability to prepare clear and concise reports.
- Sound leadership and motivational skills.
- Commercial, customer oriented approach.
