This boutique family-friendly firm, on the city fringe is looking for a dedicated Senior Legal Executive to join their wonderful team.You will be a person who loves property, is comfortable working autonomously and able to hit the ground running. You will be very confident handling commercial and residential conveyancing files from beginning to end including – subdivisions and estate management work. You will also provide support to the property authors at the firm for all property, trusts, wills and estates work.About the firm:

As a Senior Legal Executive, you will play a crucial role in managing commercial and residential conveyancing files, including subdivisions and estate management work. You'll have the opportunity to work autonomously, providing support to the property authors and collaborating closely with the Directors.Some of your responsibilities:
  • Manage property files for all transactions, overseeing pre-contract negotiations through to post-settlement matters.
  • Provide expert guidance on subdivision projects, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Handle estate, trust, and estate planning files.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • A Legal Executive Certificate with a minimum of 8 years' experience in property transactions within a legal office.
  • Proficiency in trust accounting, e-dealing, and cloud-based file management systems.
  • Strong analytical skills for legal document preparation, interpretation, and research.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on client and supplier relationship management.
  • Thorough understanding of New Zealand Property Law and regulatory compliance requirements.
