The Mental Health & Addiction Services at Te Whatu Ora, Te Tai Tokerau are seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to join the Mid/Far North teams to provide an effective service to the Bay of Islands, Hokianga and Kaitaia community.provides a specialist clinical mental health and addiction service to the Northland region, from north of Wellsford to Cape Reinga serving a growing population of around 190000. These services are designed to cater for people with significant mental illness and/or addiction that is beyond the scope of primary care services.Here is the opportunity to live and practice in a more rural area of Northland, ideally suiting someone with strong interest in rural psychiatry and interested in a country farm or beach lifestyle.
