He angitūtanga / The opportunity:We are looking for an enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at New Plymouth District Council in Taranaki. This is a Permanent Part Time position with 20 hours per week. Hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 12.30 pmKo o kawenga / Your responsibilities:In this position, you will be responsible for;
  • General catering assistant duties in café and kitchens.
  • You will also be assisting with sandwich preparation, making coffee & serving customers.
  • Ensuring all requests are dealt with in a professional and timely manner.
  • In addition, you will be providing superb customer service.
  • Assisting with general kitchen and cleaning duties.
