This is a unique opportunity to join this business which will go through some transformational change as a new CFO joined the company earlier in the year to drive this NZ entity forward.The RoleThe role of Senior Management Accountant will sit within one of three core commercial streams. Your core focus will be the partner the operational Heads, by providing financial reports, analysis and advice with a view to driving performance. Your key responsibilities will include:

Prepare and analyse financial and non-financial data making recommendations to drive actions and performance
Oversee regular weekly and monthly reporting
Provide ad hoc analysis to operations as required
Prepare and drive Budgeting and forecasting
Develop and maintain specific KPI's to support your business unit and any customer reporting requirements
Ad hoc reporting for management both on and offshore as required
Maintain cost models and assisting with further modelling as required
Customer pricing reviews, providing calculations and analysis to assist in settling rates
Facilitate continuous improvement of systems and processes for capturing data and for producing and communicating management information
Ensure the design of management reporting and analytics adequately supports management decision making

Your profile:To be considered for this role, we are seeking a CA qualified Accountant who has worked in larger commercial settings and is looking for the next step in their career. You will need to be a driven individual who can demonstrate an x-factor, where your commercial nous and ability to partner non-financial people will come to the floor. Your attributes will include:

Strong excel capability, with strong knowledge of cost models
Understanding of commercial agreements
Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, inventory or manufacturing a plus
Strong analytical mindset and an ability to make commercial judgements
Strong business partnering capability with non-financial people
