We recognise the unique opportunity we get to create collections that are relevant, relatable and unique for our customers, aiming to inspire & excite whilst bringing great value.Join our passionate buying team as a Senior Buyer (Chapter Member - Buying) for our women’s Footwear and Accessory categories. This role is critical to our success and your key responsibilities are complex and exciting! We're looking for someone who understands the customer and market, with a flair for spotting emerging trends and translating them into aspirational collections without compromising on the technical & design elements.You will have the opportunity to truly make and influence decisions that create value for our customers and drive commercial results.Key responsibilities will include:
  • Collaborate across departments, from design to marketing, ensuring a cohesive and compelling product offering.
  • Your design-focused lens and ability to spot emerging trends will be pivotal in curating commercial ranges that resonate with our diverse customer base.
  • Strategic planning and delivery of critical paths, product lifecycle and activations
  • Deep-diving into sales data, analysing trends, and drawing actionable insights. Report findings to stakeholders, providing valuable information that shapes our business strategies.
  • Work closely with sourcing and suppliers to meet our customers’ needs
QualificationsBringing a combination of commercial acumen, creative eye and insightful decision-making plus your wealth of experience in your craft. You can proudly point to collections and work that has delivered commercial success!Your stakeholder engagement and communication skills will serve as key strengths for seamless collaboration and increased productivity – indispensable elements in our dynamic, agile environment. Your pursuit of excellence, innate curiosity for innovation, coupled with a sense of ownership will empower you to thrive both autonomously and synergistically, delivering consistent results and commercial success for the organisation.To be successful for this role you will have:
  • Proven commercial success as a buyer
  • Technical knowledge/design experience in footwear is highly desirable
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Solid category management experience within retail
  • Experience developing branded and own brand categories
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills
  • A customer driven mindset
  • The ability to trade utilising promotional activity and advertising to maximum effect
  • Collaborative working style and excellent communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
  • Decisiveness in a fast-moving environment as well as a resilient and driven nature
  • The ability to build long term sustainable partnerships
