This increase in funding has enabled us to expand our levels of service provision to improve both accessibility to specialist eating disorder services and treatment outcomes for our tangata whaiora.We are looking for NZ Registered Health Practitioners (Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Registered Nurses, Psychologists) to join our passionate and highly skilled multi-disciplinary team.to view the position description.(Please note position descriptions can only be viewed on the Te Whatu Ora - Waikato website.)Mōu | About youRequired skills & experience you will need to be considered for this role:A current New Zealand annual practicing certificate, or eligibility to obtain oneInterest and/or experience in working with clients and families affected by eating disorders and/or other mental health problemsInterest and/or experience in providing quality, evidence based practice in the treatment of mental health disordersAbility to contribute positively to a multidisciplinary teamExperience in providing education or training to other professionalsWhile we value applicants who have experience in providing evidence based treatment for clients with eating disorders we invite candidates who have a genuine interest in working in the eating disorders field to apply. Training and supervision in the evidence based models of treatment will be provided as part of your professional development. All members of the SEDS team are provided with specialist supervision and ongoing opportunities to develop your knowledge and skills.Mō tātou Ratonga | About our ServiceThe Specialist Eating Disorders Service (SEDS) is a multi-disciplinary team providing evidence based treatment and support to clients experiencing complex and severe eating disorders. We work in a holistic way together with our clients, their families and communities.
