IT Support Specialist

- Provide timely and effective technical assistance to end-users, including logging, tracking and troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Maintain and manage end-user desktop devices, and install, configure and troubleshoot hardware and software to ensure optimal performance and usability
- Administer and maintain IT systems and end-users across multiple platforms, and coordinate monitoring and maintenance of infrastructure. Implement best practices for system configuration, monitoring, back-up and security
- Respond to IT incidents and service requests and escalate incidents as necessary
- Develop user documentation for IT procedures and processes, to empower end-users to troubleshoot common IT issues independently
- Collaborate with team members and end-users to enhance system performance and security, and implement IT security policies and procedure to protect sensitive data
- Keep up to date with industry trends and best practice, and improve process efficiency where possible
- Proven experience working in an IT support role with Desktop support background essential
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities, with a proactive attitude
- Strong computer literacy with experience in Microsoft programs, and Google workspace preferable but not essential
- Strong oral and written communication, with great interpersonal skills
