We run an efficient high input dairy farm milking 800 cows through a 54 bale-rotary, milking twice a day all year round. We have a split calving herd, maximise the use of 2 large feed barns for daily feeding and shelter and rear all the calves on farm.
Our daily tasks include but not limited to:
Milking cows with excellent animal husbandry skills.
Operating tractor, mixer wagon and feeding out to cows.
Maintenance of facilities, vehicles and machinery.
General farm duties including setting up paddocks, water management, weed/pest control, feeding calves, fencing and general farm repairs.This role could suit a single person or a couple as relief milking and calf rearing work also available.If this sounds like an opportunity for you, please contact Troy today and ensure you send through your referees with a C.V
