- Clinical leadership to our dedicated team
- Coordinate the day-to-day functioning of the unit.
- Managing staff and patient flows across the unit
- Staff rostering
- Ensuring discharge planning processes are timely and robust
- Quality initiatives to deliver safe, patient focused care
- It is essential that you are a NZ Registered Midwife and hold a current annual practicing certificate.
- Possess the ability to think outside the square, communicate effectively and promote best practice and standards of midwifery care
- Demonstrate sound professional judgement
- Innovation and vision to enhance clinical care
- Confidence to build successful working relationships with those around you, the ability to work independently or within a multidisciplinary team environment
- Confidence with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
- Hold a current portfolio (QLP) and qualification (minimum PG cert) in a relevant field
