Whittaker's are now looking for a Health and Safety Administrator to join their team.The job.
You will be responsible for supporting the business with health and safety at an administrative level.Please note that this is a part time role Monday to Friday, 20 hours per week. Some flexibility with working hours would be advantageous to be able to cover both factory shifts.Specifically, you will:
- Work with the Health and Safety Manager to ensure health and safety compliance
- Deliver health and safety inductions
- Manage and order PPE and safety equipment
- Coordinate health and safety monitoring
- Coordinate health and safety training
- Provide health and safety meeting administrative support
- Maintain the health and safety register, and
- Follow up on any health and safety actions.
To join us in this role, you will have:
- At least a few years' experience in an administrative role
- Ideally a few years' experience working in health and safety
- Exposure to, and knowledge of, the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015
- Experience in a manufacturing or fast paced environment is preferred.
